We The Remap Link offer ECU tuning services for Kawasaki in-house or through the mail. We're experts in Kawasaki tuning and have tuned numerous Kawasaki in our workshop located in Birmingham, West Midlands. We offer services for a wide range of Kawasaki models, including race remaps and custom remaps. We can increase the power output of your bike.

Kawasaki's remapping and ECU tuning process begin by running the standard bike on a dyno and measuring its power output. They also use standalone diagnostic equipment to monitor various engine function parameters, such as air-fuel ratio, throttle plate opening, spark timing, injector duty cycle, lambda readings, engine knock, etc. at different accelerator twists grip positions. This whole process is repeated for every mode that the bike has.

The 2020+ Kawasaki Z H2 is an interesting bike. It shares a lot of similarities with its supercharged brother, the H2. It also has quite a few differences from the H2. Put simply, the Z H2 is the biggest departure from the H2 family we’ve seen yet. In the engine alone the Z H2 has more compression, a different cylinder head configuration, less boost, and more than the H2 and H2R models.

When we see how other people tune the H2 engines, it’s extremely aggressive and more like how you would tune a N/A litre bike. From a lot of data logging and testing we have found the limits of the motor to be quite different from its H2 counterpart. It’s safe to say the issue that H2 motors aren’t reliable isn’t due to the engine itself, but rather how it’s tuned. With the differences in the engine between the H2 and the Z H2, using the same tuning between the two can result in catastrophic engine failure.

Many H2 engine failures can be attributed to too much ignition timing and too much RPM in tuning. While the numbers will be lower than its H2 counterpart, the Z H2 with our tuning will be reliable and consistent. When you think about it, the Z H2 is a non-intercooled engine and must be tuned more delicately to ensure a reliable result. Of course, customers with modifications such as an intercoolers or headwork can accommodate different tuning. Ultimately, we are here to utilize this amazing engine but will not sacrifice reliability for an extra 10-20whp. Reliable performance solutions are what we do and we spend many hours with a lot of data logging equipment to ensure that outcome.

All our remaps are developed on our rolling road before we road test the bike to make sure it works in the real world not just on our dyno. The BHP UK ethos is to buy our own vehicles to develop, so we do our learning on our own machines, not your pride and joy.

Harley Davidson owners love to modify their bikes and as we write all our maps in house, we can custom tune them for any modifications.

We can remap your Harley through its on board diagnostic port and will remap the factory ECU meaning we can adjust any engine parameter that we need to. These parameters include fuelling, spark advance, throttle response curves, torque limiters, lambda requests and closed loop monitoring.

We can retune these to suit the exhaust like normal but without all the restrictions in place we can also tune beyond what is enforced by the race kit map meaning we are only limited by ourselves. How far? Well when considering engine internals making sure they can cope with what's happening in there, how much fuel and how much spark you're using, it really comes down to a case of how agile your tuner's mind is and what school he or she went to!

The ECU programmer gains access via the OBD2 hole under your seat, so there are no holes drilled into the frame nor any tacky stickers on your bike. And because it plugs directly onto the OBD diagnosis port you aren't even electrical wiring modifications needed and this simply becomes "plug 'n' play"

There is nothing else like our Kawasaki Performance ECU Re-flashing service out there!
